We all need protein and sometimes doing the same old routine gets old. Here is three of my favorite, go-to, post workout shakes to get you moving in the right direction. Just throw the ingredients in your blender, mix, and enjoy!

Post Workout Shake #1

Blue/Blackberry Protein Super Food Smoothie

- ½ cup frozen Blueberries

- ½ cup frozen Blackberries

- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (I like Almond Breeze)

- 1 scoop Olympian Labs Vanilla Pea Protein

- 1 scoop Olympian Labs 8 in 1 Greens

- 1 Tbsp. Chia Seeds

- Add ice cubes as desired

Makes 1 Serving 

 

Post Workout Shake #2

Lemon Strawberry Smoothie

- ½ tsp. lemon zest

- ½ lemon peeled

- 5 large strawberries

- 2 C. kale

- ½ banana

- ½ C. unsweetened vanilla almond milk

- 1 scoop Olympian Labs Vanilla Pea Protein

- 1 scoop Olympian Labs 8 in 1 Greens

Makes 1 Serving 

 

Post Workout Shake #3

Here is an old favorite of mine that I like to have every now and then to break the monotony with my post workout nutrition. If you love chocolate and peanut butter give this a try for your next protein shake. You can also substitute almond butter for peanut butter if you wish.

Chocolate Protein-Peanut Butter Banana Shake  

- 1 frozen banana (1 cup)

- Unsweetened vanilla almond milk

- 1 Tbsp. organic natural peanut butter

- 1 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 Scoop Olympian Labs Pea Protein - Chocolate Flavor

- Add ice cubes as desired

Makes 1 Serving
